Online Bachelor's in Cybersecurity Programs in Michigan - Cybersecurity Majors

Michigan is currently home to five colleges and universities that offer online bachelor’s degree programs in the field of cybersecurity. Central Michigan University is a public research university located in Mount Pleasant, while Baker College in Flint, Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Northwood University in Midland, and Walsh College in Troy are all private, nonprofit institutions. These five schools offer a total of seven online bachelors in cybersecurity programs. Students in Michigan can pursue Bachelor of Science programs in Cyber Defense, Information Technology and Cybersecurity, Information Systems with a Concentration in Information Assurance, and Information Technology with Majors in Cybersecurity or Automotive Cybersecurity. Students also have the option of pursuing bachelor’s programs in business administration with specializations in cybersecurity or cybersecurity management.

All five institutions are institutionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Baker College, Central Michigan University, Davenport University, and Walsh College also hold Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designations from the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program. NCAE-C designations indicate programs have aligned their curriculum with federal standards set by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in a joint-effort with the National Security Agency (NSA).
