Online Master's in Cybersecurity Degree Programs in Arizona

Arizona has seven schools that offer a total of 11 online master’s programs in cybersecurity and related fields. Two public universities in Arizona have a variety of online master’s degrees that provide advanced cybersecurity training. Arizona State University (ASU) has an online Master of Computer Science with a Concentration in Cybersecurity, an online Master of Arts (MA) in Global Security with a Concentration in Cybersecurity, and an online MA in Emergency Management and Homeland Security with a Concentration in Cybersecurity Policy and Management. The University of Arizona offers an online MS in Cybersecurity with Concentrations in Information Systems and Physical Systems, and an online MS in Cyber and Information Operations.
There are also five private institutions in Arizona that offer online master’s programs in cybersecurity and related areas. American InterContinental University offers an online Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) program with a Concentration in Cybersecurity. Grand Canyon University (GCU) offers online Master of Science (MS) in Cybersecurity and online MS in Cybersecurity Management programs. Trident University, the University of Advancing Technology, and the University of Phoenix also have online master’s programs in cybersecurity, cybersecurity management, and information assurance.
GCU, The University of Arizona, and the University of Advancing Technology have earned designations through the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program. The NCAE-C is a federal initiative that the National Security Agency (NSA) oversees in collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The NCAE-C program provides optional designations to colleges and universities that have cybersecurity programs that align their curricula with federal guidelines. GCU has earned a Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designation, The University of Arizona has obtained both a CAE-CD designation and a Cyber Research (CAE-R) designation, and the University of Advancing Technology has earned the CAE-CD designation.
ASU, GCU, Trident University, the University of Advancing Technology, and the University of Phoenix are all regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), while The University of Arizona is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).
