CSUSM is part of the California State University System, the largest public university system in the United States. National University is a private, non-profit institution that is based in San Diego, but has multiple satellite campuses throughout California. USD is also a private, non-profit institution. Collectively, these schools offer six online master’s degree programs in cybersecurity and related fields. Prospective graduate students can study cybersecurity, cybersecurity management, ethical hacking and penetration testing, digital forensics and incident response, cloud security, network risk management, cybersecurity engineering, and more.
CSUSM, National University, and USD are regionally accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). In addition, all three universities have also obtained a Cyber Defense designation (CAE-CD) from the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program.
