The Indiana Institute of Technology (Indiana Tech), located in Fort Wayne, is the state’s only private, nonprofit university with an online master’s degree program in cybersecurity. Further, they have all earned optional designations from the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program, a joint initiative devised by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to set curricular standards for cybersecurity education. Indiana Tech, ISU, and Purdue Global have earned designations in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD). Indiana University Bloomington has earned both CAE-CD and Cyber Research (CAE-R) designations, while Purdue University has earned a CAE-R designation.
