Online Master's in Cybersecurity Degree Programs in Delaware

There are currently two schools in Delaware that offer a total of three online master’s programs in cybersecurity and related fields. The University of Delaware’s College of Engineering has an online Master of Science in Cybersecurity. Meanwhile, Wilmington University’s College of Technology offers an online Master of Science in Information Systems Technologies (IST) with a concentration in Information Assurance, as well as an online Master of Science in Cybersecurity with concentrations in Cyber Terrorism, and SCADA Cybersecurity. Both the University of Delaware and Wilmington University’s online master’s programs in cybersecurity and related fields feature 100% online coursework with no campus visits.
The University of Delaware is a state-assisted, privately governed land-grant university, while Wilmington University is a private school. Both institutions of higher education maintain regional accreditation through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). In addition, both the University of Delaware and Wilmington University have applied for and received Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designations through the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program. NCAE-C is a federal initiative overseen by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), which provides optional designations to colleges and universities with cybersecurity and cybersecurity-related degree programs whose curricula and educational outcomes align with federal standards.
